Furniture, Quality of Life Changes, & New Rank Perks!

Welcome back to our latest VioletsMC Update Post!

We wanted to take some time this update to introduce a new feature, a revamped spawn (ahead of a New Player Experience update), a buff to existing ranks, & some quality of life updates!

A major part of this content update is a new system revolving around a currency we've named Cosmetic Tokens!

Cosmetic tokens can be obtained from our store, by completing in-game challenges, voting for the server each day, and more! Starting next week you will also be able to claim cosmetic tokens just for logging in each day!

You can spend your tokens (viewable with /tokens) in the Cosmetic Store, accessible both at spawn and via /tokens shop. The available items within the store change every two hours, so make sure you're checking back frequently!

We currently have two available item packs to choose from, and will be releasing two more very soon.

Note: Due to limitations in bedrock cross compatibility furniture can only be seen by users on the Java Platform!

Quality of Life Changes

We wanted to use this update to release a few features & changes we've seen highly requested over the past few weeks! Find more information below:

  • Fast Leaf Decay: Once all of the logs are removed from a tree, the leaves will quickly disappear!
  • Reduced Plot Prices: The prices of all plots in the PlayerShops warp have been lowered. The large Player Shops will now set you back $10,000 a day, with the smaller ones costing $5,000.
  • Lecterns are now readable in claims: I expect to see a lot of public libraries being built!
  • Replenisher Axe: Destroy coca beans instantly, with an added chance of extra drops! This is obtainable on our store.
  • Mine Ore Challenges: All mine ore challenges will now work with any variant of the ore! In the future we will update all challenge names to reflect this change.
  • New Warden Drops: Killing a warden is no easy feat! To reflect that, on kill they will now always drop a Swift Sneak III book.
  • More ways to obtain the allay: Due to the dwindling population of this rare mob, you will now have a chance of obtaining a Spawn Egg from a weekly challenge!

Rank Revamps

We're always looking for ways to add more value for our supporters, who help keep the server running! With this update we've added the below rank perks.

  • Fly in Player Shops: Violet rank can now fly in the Player Shops world!
  • Fancy Item Names: Violet rank now has access to colour codes in /itemname
  • No delay on /rtp: Blossom+ will no longer have to wait to teleport into the wilderness when randomly TPing!
  • Teleport leashed animals: Daisy+ will now teleport any animals on leashes with them when they /tpa, or /home!
