Move over Season 2, Season 3 is here to stay!
Released on March 7th, this new season for the server came with lots of changes and new features, and it will continue to bring surprises and fun to everyone!
1.21.4
Our server is now native to 1.21.4 meaning we can utilise all of the content available in the newest Minecraft version! From new blocks, new plants, new enchants, new building blocks, even to the scary and exiting new biome of the Pale Garden, this new version of the game and server will keep your gameplay super fun.
Beware of the creaking though... it isn't very social.
The new season also brings with it a new, fresh look for Violets. Rank colors have been updated along with Staff Roles, even the spawn has a new character!
Custom Generation Terrain
If the Pale Garden being introduced was exciting, knowing that VioletsMC now has complete custom generated biomes is super exciting! The map size was expanded to allow players to have more area to explore and build on, being now 25,000 x 25,000.
The custom biomes also bring custom generations with them, aka bigger villages, improved mansions, scarier mineshafts, catacombs and more...
Crates
A new addition has landed in the famed cat crate! Be ready to say hello to the new large cat plushie! You can obtain this enormous plushie from open 12 crate keys, so be sure to visit it using /warp archive. Although it is sad to see it go, the fox plushie has been removed, but do not fret! An amazing, explosive replacement has filled its spot. We welcome the creeper plushie into this crate!
Think you’re going to miss out on the new spawner egg appearance update? Well, fear not! Our spawner stones now match the latest snapshot on the egg’s appearance!
Ethereal crate
Want a fashionable way to travel around the server, try showing off our new designs to your friends! This crate is great for that! Between the purple accents and the structured appearance of the skins, it will surely look great on any skin!
To place them onto your armour or tools, make sure to visit good old Seb at spawn! He can be found using /warp skins.
Wildwood crate
Friendship Plushie Crate
Need a furry friend to accompany you on your journeys? This crate is the place to look. It has ten brand new fuzzy friends that you can carry around with you. Whether you want to collect, or have just one. This crate has plenty of variety for your liking! With plenty for all of your friends too!
The Archive
With the new season, we will most definitely miss the crates that debuted last season. However, some have traveled to the archive! Such as the Tempest, Shogun, and Quack crates!
Now you can receive a daily 25 archive tokens for FREE by visiting Arthur the Archiver! Our system has also changed, rather than using your tokens separately, you can now simply right click on a crate to get a key.
Store changes
Community Goals
Good news for everyone who enjoys time on the server! Whenever we hit a community goal, each one of the players online will receive not only 1,000 claim blocks, but also an additional 100 archive tokens! Spending money on Violets may seem pointless to some people, however it creates a better experience for all players. Contributing to this server helps to keep it running in its best possible form!
Redesigns
Some changes in the Violet store have arrived. The top 20 spenders will be displayed in the store, not only this, but the top spender of the week will have their very own spot!
Ever struggled to find something specific in the store? That's solved now! The navigation of our website has been changed, making scrolling through it a better and easier experience for everyone. The new limited time segment will allow for easily finding any short timed items you’re interested in. Along with that it will also show you how much time it has remaining for a purchase!
Team Changes
The time has arrived! We are finally bringing some changes to our team system. These include more accessibility for our beloved Bedrock players, along with a few additions wanted by our players!
Team Vault
Making money for your team is a fun new task to do that allows your team to grow, unfortunately our Bedrock players had some issues with depositing and withdrawing money. This change has introduced separate buttons of this action, making it easier to use for all types of Minecraft players!
Team Upgrades
We have reassessed the team upgrade prices, making it cheaper and more accessible for your team to obtain!
Team Banners
Ever wanted your team to be easily identifiable to others? We’ve got that solved! This season we are introducing this brand new team banner option. Create something that suits your team, and become more memorable and recognizable on the server.
Team Points
Have you ever wanted to be more competitive with other teams? That time has come! We have brought new challenges to our teams! With this new addition you can use /teamchallenges to access a GUI that contains a constant rotation of challenges that refreshes weekly.
As you and your team members complete these, points will be added to your team. Try your best to get on the leader-board, not only will this make your team well known, but it will give you the chance to show off your amazing, unique team banner!
Additionally, we will hold events in the future that your team can participate in to earn even more points!
Economy
For this season, we have made multiple changes to the prices of items in /shop to ensure they match the available resources on the custom world.
However, there is much more variety now! An Ocean category has been added, so you are now able to purchase or sell different Prismarine blocks, corals, sea lanterns and even hearts of the sea.
Furniture and Custom Food are both accessible through the shop GUI, making it a lot easier to buy or sell these items.
